Office Changes--Advanced Surgical Concepts

The last year brought extensive changes to Advanced Surgical Concepts, the surgery office of Dr. James White. Over the last year our office has changed from hospital based general Surgery to allow for ambulatory and office based surgical procedures. Due to patients request, our office moved to a more central location near Hamilton Place Mall in the outskirts of Chattanooga. The Cleveland office site was closed as of January 1, 2007.
The staff of Advanced Surgical Concepts has remained constant throughout the move. With Dr. James E. White, MD; a board certified General Surgeon in control; the office works under their motto: "Where Christian compassion meets advanced surgical care!" Our outstanding staff include: Toni Ryan, Family Nurse Practitioner; Casi White, Register Diagnostic Ultrasonographer; Rachel Coffey, Register Nurse; Lorri Edward, LPN Aesthetician: Tabitha Bryson, Surgery scheduler and Selina Mayfield, Billing Manager.
Why the changes one may ask? "Simplify to Glorify" is the answer. Over the past two years, Dr. White has been working as a solo general surgeon; on call 24 hour per day/7 days per week /365 days per year. The pastor at Candies Creek Baptist Church preached for weeks on "Simply to Glorify". Simplify our lives, time and situations to Glorify God. After much prayer, we have simplified our surgical services to allow for increased time at home with family, time in church work and time for medical mission trips.
During the simplification process; our office have pioneered advancements in the endovascular treatment of varicose veins in the Cleveland and Chattanooga area. We have decreased our hospital based services and dramatically increased our office based services. Our office has complete over 260 Endovenous laser vein treatments for ropy bulging varicose veins. We have the most experience with varicose vein surgical and non-surgical minimal invasive procedures in the region. The Thermage Non-Surgical Facelift System lifts and tightens sagging skin without surgery and without downtime.
